What conventional radiology (x-rays)?
Conventional radiography is an imaging technique that uses X-rays to image the body. The images are created according to the x-ray attenuation through the tissues, causing different densities of a radiological film.
Our center has a new generation of digital radiology table with full field system, allowing better visualization of anomalies.
Preparation – What to do before an xray?
There is no special preparation for conventional radiology. It is not necessary to be fasting.
If you are pregnant or if you are likely to get pregnant, it is imperative to inform our staff of this before your exam.

Procedure – How is an xray?
You will be asked a few administrative formalities on arrival, and you will be informed about the price of the exam. The cost will vary depending on the type of radiograph performed.
You will remove the clothes interesting the radiographed region
You will be asked to remain still for radiography, and may be given special instructions regarding breathing.
A graduate manipulator will attend and explain you all the steps of your exam. Your consent will be requested before starting the examination.
You will receive your x-ray pictures and a report at the end of your appointment.
How long does a conventional radiolography in the radiology center Paris La Defense?
Conventional radiology usually only takes a few minutes. But to complete the administrative steps and wait for your report, we advise you to allow up to 20 to 30 minutes for your appointment.
